Learn how to loosen up your watercolors with Andy Evansen. He'll be teaching a
three-wash technique to get you to see the 'big shapes' in your paintings. He
strives for a blend of realism and impressionism, and will get you to stop
worrying about meddlesome details. Drawing tips will be discussed as well, to
help give you the confidence to paint large and fast. Andy will be demonstrating
each day, and will try to cover subjects ranging from skies, water and trees to
figures and buildings. Come ready to paint!

The most important aspect of a painting is how to let your inventive mind plan your
painting so that it will tell your individual story. All this is done before you
start painting. Charloette will present her renowned form of layered pointillism,
a major part of the Workshop, and how to think creatively. Reference will be made
to, “Painting…a QUEST toward Xtraord!nary”, which she co-authored with Judi Betts,
and will be available for purchase at the Workshop
