It’s time to get ready to enter the MNWS 2022 juried show, “Spring Forth”! We are looking forward to seeing all of the fabulous paintings our members have been busy creating. It’s always great fun to see all the work hanging in the gallery and to meet up with our members and friends at the opening!
“Spring Forth” will hang in the beautiful gallery at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts. Richard Kochenash, an esteemed local artist from Chaska, MN will be the juror and he will choose 65-70 paintings to be on display and the 10 awards for the show. Please make note of the schedule listed below and keep in mind that the submission period has been shortened to one week this year (the first week of February). All current members of MNWS are encouraged to submit up to two of their best paintings completed within the last 2 years. The entry fee for one submission is $30.00. The entry fee for two submissions is $35.00. You may renew your membership when you apply. The schedule below should allow members plenty of time to frame their accepted piece(s) before the show. Please enter your submissions through the link found on our website under the Exhibitions Tab (Spring Exhibition). The preferred method of payment for the submission fee is PayPal. The link to PayPal can be found under the Exhibitions Tab on our website or you may send a check to the address listed on the submission form. The submission rules, framing requirements, and ID label can also be found on our website under the Exhibition Tab.
Spring Forth Exhibition Time Line:
Submission Period Opens: Tuesday February 1st, 2022
Submission Period Closes: Monday February 7th, 2022 at midnight - No late entries accepted
Accepted work posted on MNWS website: Friday March 11th, 2022
Drop off work: Saturday, April 16th 10am – 1pm - No late drop offs

Opening Reception: Monday April 25th, 6pm – 8:30pm – Rick’s Awards at 7pm
Show Closes: Friday, May 20th
Pick up work: Saturday, May 21st 10am – 1pm – No late pick ups
