CALL FOR ENTRY

20th annual MNWS spring exhibition “Ephemeral” to be held at Minnetonka Center for the Arts – April 11-May 17

As winter wanes and the air begins to warm, the early “Ephemeral” spring flowers put out a burst of beauty to brighten the lingering winter days, before fading away until the next spring. Artists have been busy throughout the winter creating new beautiful pieces and it’s time to let those lovely works of art shine for the spring exhibition. The gallery walls of the Minnetonka Center for the Arts will hold these bursts of color and help us all shake off the dregs of winter.

Internationally known artist and teacher David R Smith AWS, NWS, is the jurist of selection and will also judge accepted works for awards.

All current members of MNWS are encouraged to submit up to two of their best paintings completed within the last 2 years. The preferred method of payment for the submission fee is PayPal. The link to PayPal can be found under the Exhibitions Tab on our website or you may send a check to the address listed on the submission form. The submission rules, framing requirements, and ID label can also be found on our website under the Exhibition Tab.

This juried show is open to all MNWS members who have paid their dues through April 30, 2024. If you are not currently a member of the society, you may join when you submit your entry. Artists may submit up to two paintings, in accordance with the show prospectus. The entry fee is $30 for the first painting and $5 for the second entry. Entry fees are not refundable.
