Due to weather reports of an impending storm, we are postponing our March meeting with Deb Zeller. It has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 20 at Zeller Studio in Hopkins.
At that time Deb will demonstrate 2 and 5 minute figure studies from a live model, as well as some longer studies. She will be using traditional watercolors as well as Inktense watercolor pencils. Please plan to attend this April meeting to learn from Deb and maybe even participate yourself!

Deb will demonstrate portrait paintings or "watercolor shorts" with a live model. This is your chance to bring your sketchbook, pencils, or small travel paints, as you join Deb, giving your hand to a few "Shorts" as she demonstrates and teaches!
Deb began her art career at age thirteen when she received a set of oil paints for her birthday. Over the decades she has developed her skills in drawing, painting, glass fusion, encaustic (beeswax) painting, photography, and bronze sculpture. She also heads the Minnesota Figure Study Collaborative which meets every Wednesday, involving artists across the state who gather together to work from live models creating over a dozen quick sketches and paintings during their sessions.
