Description
Paint the beautiful complexity of the human face, step-by-step with award-winning artistTara Sweeney. Learn a three-layer, four-value, hold-the-whites approach to transparent watercolor technique. First, make a drawing to explore strong composition in support of expression. Next, create a value study to simplify shapes, create drama with light and plan edges. Then, apply insights from the value study to create a watercolor in three layers of glowing color. Whether you’re an experienced watercolorist, a complete beginner or somewhere in between, you’ll build confidence and improve skills exploring split-primary color mixing, wet-into-wet mingling, transparent layering, intentional edges, and lively brushwork with Tara’s expert support and individualized feedback. Thisworkshop is appropriate for all levels of ability.
